My framework

I provide individual psychodiagnostic evaluation and psychotherapy for adults based in NYS and FL via tele-medicine. My treatment approach is largely informed by psychoanalytic theory, which involves looking at the present impact of earlier life experiences. Through this process, I work together with my patients to identify what is no longer serving them, in order to make space for what is. I believe that this process can not only help facilitate a deepened relationship with the self, but with others and community at large. I often incorporate additional modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness tools. Whether aiming to learn tools for coping with stress or to deepen awareness of thoughts, feelings and behaviors, I tailor treatment plans to meet each person’s unique needs. Working within a dedicated team also allows me to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care, where indicated.

My approach is deeply collaborative, focusing on building upon each individual's internal strengths and resources while identifying additional pathways to support healing.

I understand mental health as an interplay of biological, psychological and social factors, with attention to each person’s material realities, unique personality structures, families of origin, culture and life contexts. This holistic perspective allows me to offer personalized care that addresses both the inner world and the external factors influencing the lives of those I care for.

I am fortunate to love my work, and view it as a profound honor to join my patients on the journey towards unearthing their authentic selves.
